Fork Tube Seal Area Limited Warranty
At Diamond Lane Cycles , we stand behind the quality of our fork tubes. This Limited Warranty specifically covers the critical seal engagement area of our motorcycle fork tubes to ensure your suspension performs reliably.
1. Warranty Coverage
We warrant that the seal engagement area of our fork tubes—defined as the specific travel zone where the fork seal makes contact with the tube—will be free from manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship for a period of [e.g., 1 Year / 12 Months] from the date of original purchase.
What is Covered:
Manufacturing imperfections in the chrome or coating within the seal travel area.
Dimensional inaccuracies in the seal area that prevent proper sealing when using OEM-spec seals.
Structural defects in the metal within the seal engagement zone.
2. Warranty Exclusions
This warranty is strictly limited to the seal area. Diamond Lane Cycles is not responsible for leaks or damage caused by factors outside of our manufacturing process. This warranty does not cover:
Pitting or Stone Chips: Damage caused by road debris, rocks, or environmental salt that leads to seal failure instagram.com.
Improper Installation: Damage resulting from incorrect assembly, the use of improper tools, or non-standard seals facebook.com.
Maintenance Neglect: Failure caused by dirty fork oil, worn-out bushings, or failure to clean the seal area instagram.com.
External Areas: Scratches, nicks, or discoloration on parts of the tube that do not come into contact with the seals (e.g., upper triple clamp mounting area).
Racing/Off-Road Use: Damage incurred during competitive racing or extreme off-road use unless otherwise specified.
3. Limitation of Liability
The sole remedy under this warranty is the repair or replacement of the defective fork tube. Diamond Lane Cycles is not liable for:
Labor costs for removal or installation.
Secondary costs such as replacement fork seals, fork oil, or bushings.
Loss of use, towing fees, or incidental damages.
4. How to Make a Claim
To initiate a warranty claim, please follow these steps:
1.Contact Support: Email us at Diamond Lane Cycles with your order number and clear, high-resolution photos of the seal area in question.
2.Inspection: We may require the tube to be shipped to our facility for technical inspection to determine if the failure was due to a manufacturing defect or external damage.
3.Resolution: If the defect is verified, we will ship a replacement tube at no cost to you.
RETURN POLICY
All items are subject to a 15% re-stocking fee. All returned items must not be scratched, soiled or damaged due to installation and or wear. All items must be returned in original packaging. Customer is responsible for return shipping fees. Diamond Lane Cycles is not responsible for any returns lost in transit or any additional charges incurred.
NO RETURNS on orders past 30 days of package delivery confirmation.
